I think one thing that to your point founders don't understand is if you're chasing those big checks, those big checks come with all of this associated customer service and you know, going out of your way and then you also want to close the deal, you close the deal, now you want to leave a good impression.

They asked you for a small feature, maybe the first feature was, you know, just a small tool here or there.

But then once you keep asking them and you keep delivering, they keep asking more and bigger and complicated and now you're diverging your product to cater to one client when you should be thinking about, Okay, if they asked for this, how do I take this?

How do I build something that everyone can use and everyone likes?

But again, if you're just reacting to like where the big checks are coming from, you end up

diverting your code base to one side and it's just really hard to claw back from there.

And the more complicated a product gets, the harder it gets to change stuff out and change features out because complex software, yes, with AI it's it's getting easier, but after a point, it's not as simple as, oh, let me just make a change and push it out.

You have a one week testing cycle.

You have the you gotta make sure it's not affecting any of your other customers, it's support ready to handle any requests that come in if you do make a big change.
