But to be able to at least watch guys try to perform and execute on the field and what is the closest thing you're going to get to a game situation until the regular season starts, it's nice.
It it it does provide a little bounce to the step.
You do get to at least discuss
uh some of the key players that you expect good things from.
And, you know, the hardest part is trying to balance the bottom of the roster with what's going on with the top guys, 'cause the top guys you know are going to be there.
And as you guys were saying, in a few weeks, this thing's going to happen for real against Carolina.
Like these are the guys that are going to be on the field more often than not.
I still feel like Savon Ahmed is doing a lot of good things in multiple phases.
Uh, I think he's been good in special teams and he's been able to grasp the offense relatively quickly.
Again, this is just a guy that's had a lot of injuries.
The hip drop tackle got him last year.
He had a bad foot and ankle ish injury a few years ago when he was with Miami.
Like I I called some of his games before he he got hurt and I was like, Yeah, the he was a capable backup running back, number two, number three guy, uh that can
spell your starter.
I know DeAndre Swift has a lot of expectation on him this year and he's going into walk here anyway.
Those two and thr or that number three spot.
And you know, I I that was like a Freudian slip.
I said the two spot just because the concern about Manongay's knee has gotten a little greater in the last week.
