We can look at the division, but I still feel like the goal for this team is a little different.
There are individuals who I want to see grow as players.
But here's the thing about Noah Schultz needing to be better.
He needs to figure out who he is as a major league pitcher.
And he doesn't need to pressure himself like we heard Shota Imanaga say in the previous segment.
You know, he doesn't need to do that right now.
He needs to learn who he is, learn how he faces batters, learn especially how to face batters in the division.
And then I'm okay with him giving up three earned runs and walking five batters because he also has a comfortability knowing that the White Sox run support will be there for him.
You can't even say that about a guy like when he was here, Jose Quintana.
This is the beauty of what this offense is buying this team right now.
Well, also even think about what we just said about Sir Anthony Dominguez.
He gets the save, even though he gives up the two-run jack to Bobby Wood Jr.
Bobby Wood Jr.
home runs were catastrophic for this team for the last several years.
Salvador Perez home runs were catastrophic.
And now you can withstand these threats.
And you can be okay with a young pitcher learning who he is as a rookie and have all this happen because of how they're hitting right now.
Will Venable talked about the growth of this team after the game.
That's what you want to say as a manager.
