Yeah, so like you mentioned, the polling was all over the place.
Jasmine got in the last possible day of the election, of the filing period.
So it was kind of like a two-month or two, three-month sprint for her.
And she had a lot of like catching up to do and the polling kind of caught up because she has started off with a very large name recognition advantage over Tyler Rico, even though he'd been in the race for much longer.
She's a much more more known figure, spoke at the DNC, sought after fundraiser guests around the country.
So even though Tyler Rico was in longer, she was playing he was playing catch up to her.
And then the early polls kind of had her ahead.
A part of that was name I.D.,
And then he started chipping away at it.
But as you mentioned, the polling was all over the place.
We had a few at the end that were breaking his way, but there wasn't a lot of high quality polling that was like independent.
So, I mean, I went into Election Day not really knowing who would win.
It was an easy case to make for Crockett or for Tallarico.
And just a couple of things broke his way enough for him to win by like six or seven points at the end of the day.
Which is growing rapidly.

No, everything you said is absolutely correct.
And the amount of confusion I don't think was an accident, especially because it's like just for the primary.
I think it just speaks to how desperate Texas Republicans are to hang on to power because, you know, you do the redistricting, right?
But that doesn't work at the statewide level.
