A week ago, I made a statement that he was very much in the conversation as the best players in high school basketball.

At the time, that was received as somewhat contrarian because two weeks before that, Caden Daughtry was someone who came off the bench

for USA Basketball.

That's something that's been kind of lost in this narrative of the last week.

But he was Beckham Black's backup.

He started behind Navarro Bowman in the backcourt for the USA Basketball team that won the 17 and under World Cup.

So you kind of have to take all of these experiences and all these evaluation settings in order to get the total picture of Caden Daughtry.

But what I will tell you is I think he's the most skilled guard in high school basketball.
