And it was completely inefficient.
this was anything but because all courts were in the same location, which allowed not just the EYBL, but the E16 and E15, which basically means the 17 and under league, the 16 under league and the 15 under league to all be played in the convention center.
The fact that it was next to the summer league,
allowed Vegas to once again be the center of the basketball universe.
So I think in terms of capturing the attention of the basketball world, Nike succeeded in what I'm sure was their objective.
Should other programs, should other circuits go there?
Of course.
But the caveat is that ain't cheap.
And so affordable for families, yeah.
How affordable is it for the shoe companies?
I mean, I don't want to get into a rabbit hole of stock prices of sneaker companies, but that is a huge expenditure.
Yeah, so I don't anticipate that that is going to be the type of expenditure that every sneaker company can duplicate.
I will say that between that and the fact that Adidas had that paperwork snafu and was not sanctioned for college coaches on the first day of the recruiting period,

huge you know i mean for that for college coaches to not be allowed there on the first day of the recruiting period that that that was a you know i can't i think it's happened once or twice before but uh that that was that was a that was problematic so yeah vegas was awesome i hope nike can go back for someone who covers and loves both the draft and recruiting itself to be able to spend
the day at the convention center and then leave at eight o'clock and go catch two games at Thomas and Mack Center for the, you know, the summer league.
I mean, there was one day in particular where, you know, we watched Beckham Black, Caden Daughtry, and then we left and we watched A.J.
Devonsa versus Darren Peterson and then Darius Acuff versus Keaton Wagler.
And that was the day and it couldn't have been more fun.
And there were hundreds of people who did the exact same thing.
