hit home runs um with with their younger draft picks especially recently and obviously last year they spent more of their draft capital on offense and the defensive guys they did draft either didn't play or got hurt so um you know it's that but they need to start doing that on defense so look do i have pass rush at the top of that list absolutely i mean ideally you find an edge rusher uh that's going to be here for 10 years in the draft you know one of these

really superstar pass rushers that you end up extending, that would be great.

That would have the biggest impact.

But, you know, the linebackers are getting older.

Some of the players in the secondary, whether it's bringing Kevin Byard back, you know, he's already in double digits in his NFL career.

Whoever else they bring in...

assuming Jaquan Brisker is not back.

They just need to find young core players on defense.

You probably don't need as many as you are going to have on offense, but you need at least two or three of those guys that you know you can rely on for a long time.

But yes, I would say pass rusher would ideally be the top of the list.

Yeah, but that's why you really got to hit on these second, third, fourth round picks.

Just because you don't have a high first rounder, we can't complain about that now after all the top 10 picks the Bears have had recently.

But this is where you really start to build

build your team.

That's why you end up with a guy like Luther Burden in the second round who now seems like somebody you can build on.

Those are the types of picks you got to make on defense now.

So, you know, Trey Hendrickson was a third round pick.
