It's nasty.
It looks like Saddam Hussein, but he does get to put, you know, his little flourishes around as he chooses.
It's a little of both.
So yes, I think there is going to be some aspect of that.
The president has a lot of power, but there is a Congress that has to fund everything that can stop stuff.
The courts actually in the United States have been a very big bulwark against this kind of overreach.
And in fact, in some cases have slowed down the arch and all this kind of stuff.
So
There are ways to resist it.
There's ways to push back on it, and especially which likely is going to happen.
The Democrats take power in at least the House of Representatives, maybe the Senate.
So it can certainly be slowed down.
I have actually encouraged whoever is running for president on the Democratic side to make it clear.
that basically any kind of grandiose memory that Trump has built to himself will be destroyed in 2029.
And I think that's important, not just as some kind of retribution, but really to send a message to future presidents that any attempt you make to go outside of the will of the people is not going to have a lasting impact.
And that may dissuade future presidents from doing the same thing.
So
There is going to be a little bit of having to just suck it up, right?
But also there are mechanisms in place to slow it down or prevent it, which some have been successful and certainly will be harder for him to be able to do with a Congress that is not as compliant as this one is.
