It's just it allows you to have an obvious replacement.
I think what we really need to see is what the rotation looks like with those three middle guys.
Who's the stagger?
Who plays the most minutes with Jokic?
Who plays at this spot and that spot?
And I think we're going to get eight games to mess with that.
And I wonder if Adelman, like if you know that going in and the team has to have a better sense than we do of exactly when they expect these guys back, like they probably can already game theory this out.
If you only got eight games with everybody healthy, you might want to map out what those eight games look like.
Like, OK, we're going to do this for three games.
We're going to do this for three games.
We're going to do this for two games.
Or you just say no experimentation.
When everybody gets back, we don't have time.
We need eight games so that you always know this is when you check in, this is when you check out, and we run with it.
I honestly think it'd be interesting to ask closer to when everybody returns that exact question of if you get eight games together, do you experiment with those eight games or do you just try to commit to something so everybody gets familiar?
Have we already hit it?
Is this the low point?
Lost four out of five before winning this last one?
Is there another low point coming up?
Like, if we were to circle somewhere on the calendar where we say this is the point where we feel the worst about the team, when is it?
