Uh but but for club but for Club Kid, I mean, look, it's an interesting discussion about the difference between a movie being effective and a movie being good.

Very hard to argue that it is not.

Um I think it's interesting when a movie is all about a character's flaws and growth and self-reckoning when they really kind of do nothing wrong.

And the movie constantly reminds you that they haven't really done anything wrong, that the things that happen aren't really their fault, not really their problem.

I love movies about ten year olds who are just perfect.

have none of the actual rough edges or difficult edges that kids have.

He is sort of absolved by the machinery of the plot, the main character played by the the filmmaker, who, of course, is writing, directing, and starring in this kind of very self-flattering project.

Not since Cha Cha Real Smooth, in my opinion.
