And it coincided with my origin story and when I realized I wasn't going to be a pro ball player, which was pretty easy to recognize.
But when I was 10 years old, WFAN All Sports Radio was born.
And I realized that that was something that I wanted to do.
So I literally, from 1987 on, when WFAN was born, I was like, I just want to hit a baseball until I can't anymore.
And I want to be a sports radio host.
And, you know, it's interesting because you always say to kids, I say this to my kids, you know, you'll figure out what you want to do.

of a quote unquote normal path, right?
You know, you figure things out, trials, tribulations, ups, downs.
We have that in our career too.
But I was 100% and I had parents who were school teachers in the Bronx who, you know,
could have encouraged me to be safe.
I wasn't the only guy growing up who was a child of WFAN, so to say, and mesmerized by it and influenced by it.
But I was lucky enough that I had parents who had a singular focus with me of, okay,
This is Adam's passion.
This is what he wants to do.
And if I wasn't, you know, hitting a baseball or watching sports, I was just absolutely locked in on being a broadcaster and specifically a sports radio host.
Second grade, we had, and this was also an important part.
I mean, you ask great questions.
Of my origin story, we had a TV studio in high school.
