The campus radio station, and it's run by, the sports department's run by students.

It's an NPR affiliates.

And now it's under the Newhouse umbrella.

It used to not be.

And, you know, for me, I knew I wanted to go there.

I wanted to be part of it.

You don't instantly just show up and you're on air.

You have to wake up at four in the morning.

Do practice sportscasts.

And a lot of guys and girls get cuts.

They don't make it.

They don't make it from the initial 200 people in a room.

They interview.

Then you have to go through the clearing process.

Some don't get cleared.

Some don't want to wake up at 4 in the morning as a college student and not even be on air, but do practice sportscasts to get cleared to be on air.

So going through that process and the real life element of it was pretty awesome.

I also knew that I didn't want to be a play-by-play voice.

And that's obviously the most famous school and program when it comes to sports play-by-play.
