Um, so, you know, one of the examples they put up was
the greatest sub you'll ever eat.

a couple of the regulators kinda raised their eyebrows and they were a little bit concerned with it.
Other regulators just considered it permissible puffery and they were fine with it.
Um, they also m you know, made sure that um
people you know, th one of their pet peeves was uh or not pet peeves, but one of the things that they were concerned about was franchise companies not
submitting their advertising materials, waiting the review period and then using them.
Um so the making sure that if you are gonna be using advertising materials in states that require a review, that they do go in, you know, X amount of business days ahead of time is usually a short period.

The other thing is obviously, you know, being cautious that you're not putting financial
performance representations in your advertised materials that are not contained in the uh disclosure document.
Some states, you know, they do not want any um
financial performance representations at all.
In other states it's fine as long as it's within the uh

In terms of the uh internet and website advertising
Yeah, for the most part.
they're fine with that.
As long as there's disclaimers it's not being offered in registration states, um it's not being directed to residents in a certain state.
