The confidence and the delivery of our events has been really good, and we've got to thank our government partners there as well because they're
They're investing into our events to create this, you know, destinational marketing for the sand belt and for golf in Australia.
And it's really been positive.
So it's well received by the membership and we really appreciate what PGA Tour is doing and seeing the potential down here in Australia, which we'll all say is long overdue because we knew it's always been down here as well.
Yeah, absolutely.
Now, I know this for a fact, getting on a golf course at the moment is challenging because so many people want to play golf.
So whether it's your membership, you've got to book five days in advance just to get your 10, 20 tee time, or even to play at a public course on a weekend is getting harder and harder because so many people want to play the game.
How do we translate that into people wanting to watch on TV, wanting to go and watch a
a local event, you know, obviously based in Victoria.
So whether it's, you know, heading up to the Murray to watch or whether it's going down to the Mornington Peninsula to watch, how do we get that excitement in the game translating across to watching our young professionals play?
Yeah, it's creating experiences.
And we talk a lot about that here in the office.
You know, we have a major events department that both PGA of Australia, Golf Australia, share these services, you know, led by Antonia Beggs.
who's had a lot of experience with global sporting events.
But we've got to create experience, great activations at all our events, at every level, whether they're player series events, whether they're state open, state PGAs, whether we're at Cobb and Baruga, and more or less get the fans in.
And then what you help us do as well, we've got to promote the profile of our domestic players, like the other sporting codes do so well.
And I think we've got so much talent.
You see men and women professionals who are out playing on tour.
We've got to turn them into household names and get that through to the media and get that throughout to social so they'll come out and engage in our sport.
Because where you said the golf courses are so busy, the membership courses, there's waiting lists and you've got to book five, seven, ten days in advance.
