sort of explorations, especially like drug addiction and things like that.

And she did it in such a beautiful way where it wasn't, I feel, done in like sort of a triggery way or something like she does.

I think that's why part of the reason why people love her book so much.

I mean, if I was thinking about it in a few different terms, because I was reflecting on this beforehand, because, like, in the prison, Hila Kiva is literally, like, in prison.

And that's pretty dire.

A death prison.

A death prison.

They kept on calling it a death prison.

I was like, jeez.

And there was torture.

There was all of that.

But also I guess there's also kind of like the light of hope there for her and maybe Viri's story is a little bit darker because it's like she's going into dark places where her parents have been killed.

She's on sort of more of a revenge mission and trying to explore those deepest, darkest parts of herself but also of the world.

So maybe that's kind of the opposite.

It's like Kiva started dark and kind of got lighter and maybe that's like Viri's going deeper perhaps.

Yeah.

Well, let's talk about the characters a little bit more because Very is basically a badass character.

Right.

Like her job is to go out and kill Reapers.

And that's like her life's purpose as well as her job, because it is a personal for her.
