The guards say that, you know, tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands every year are lost in exactly that way.

So you click onto one of those fake personality or celebrity ads.

It will typically take you.

The fake investment schemes seem to be the ones that have the most momentum at the moment.

You will end up on a page with the kind of branding from media organization that you might have trusted before.

BBC, RT, the Irish Independent, Irish Times, whoever it is.

And then you will see more pictures, fake pictures of that celebrity.

And then it will bring you into a link and will talk to you.

It will get you to click on something to invest a certain amount of money.

But that might be into crypto.

It might be into some fake stock market scheme.

And it works.

So that's a really great point because we're now in an era where what we've been talking about and scams and AI and personalities and fake ads

When you see something that looks colorful or interesting, or maybe even useful to you, you're now almost thinking instinctively, that's probably AI or it could be AI, and you may not actually trust it.

That's a huge, huge problem, particularly in a politically polarized era where you're instinctively inclined not to trust something that you see from a political adversary or opponent.

And now you see, let's say, a savings scheme that you have mentioned.

And you're wondering, is this could this be a scam?

I see it all the time.

I post stuff all the time and randomers will come back and say that's obviously a scam, even though it's not, because that's the way now we're tuned to think.
