We took a decision, rightly or wrongly, as a society, that we were going to treat internet platforms like Facebook, like Instagram, like TikTok and Google...

And therefore, it is much more difficult, not impossible, but more difficult to sue them for some sort of scurrilous defamation that you see there.

The generally accepted principle is that if you notify them and they don't take it down, that you have a much stronger case for suing them.
