Personally, as I've said on this podcast before, the one thing I think that the only thing that really does work other than forcing algorithmic change is community engagement.

Parental peer pressure.

And we've seen that with primary schools and with with mobile phones.

It's no coincidence that it was largely a bunch of middle class primary schools who got together to said decided that the kids weren't going to be seen with mobile phones.

mobile phones anymore and that meant that if your kid went with a mobile phone a smart smartphone um it was the you'd be sort of like it was sort of uncouth wasn't it snobbish yeah there was a sort of a self-regulating snobbery involved and and it worked for the for the good yeah yeah and that's maybe you know what might save um might save us uh but uh but otherwise i'm not sure how this is going to work i don't really think a

ban is going to work, but we will be coming back to the digital wallet and the age verification stuff because there are very considerable issues that we just need to talk about.

I mean, I feel we haven't had proper conversations about the ramifications of all that yet, but I think we are going to do.
