Pawtucket police say 75-year-old Gerald Dorgan died of his injuries after being shot by his former son-in-law at a high school hockey game earlier this month.

Dorgan was sitting with his daughter.

daughter Rhonda and grandson Aiden, celebrating his other grandson's senior night game.

Police say Robert Dorgan opened fire, killing Rhonda and Aiden before turning the gun on himself when others tried to subdue him.

Gerald Dorgan's wife Linda and a family friend were also shot and are still in the hospital.

Pawtucket police say the guns Robert Dorgan used were purchased legally and that he had a license to carry in Florida.

Officials are trying to determine if he had a license to carry in Rhode Island as well.
