There could be risks to being called too early?

Yes, Micheál Martin may decide to step down now.

There's absolutely no sign of Micheál Martin making that decision himself at the present moment.

And there is no direct threat to his leadership from anybody in his party.

And he is still on 35% approval.

So of the two government parties, himself and Simon Harris, who is on 34%, he's up 1%.

This month, he is more favoured, actually, although he is facing issues within his own party.

Holly Cairns, the leader of the Social Democrats, who had been kind of riding high in the polls, is down 2%, 38%, excuse me, still very high.

And Mary Lou MacDonald of Sinn Féin on 30%.

And so I suppose the reason we asked about Jim McCallaghan, he's widely tipped, as I mentioned.

But we also asked in the context of who do you believe should be the next leader of Fianna Fáil?

And he is way ahead of the others.
