We had Wayne O'Connor in Ballymun speaking to the woman who now owns Glen Hansard's family home.
And he used to come by and she met him at the door like one day and he was there and he was just like, I had such a great life here.
And kind of that idea of him being a very sentimental and nostalgic in a very positive way kind of a person, which is romantic in that way, you know.

And then also you had a Niamh Horan interview, Jim Sheridan, who was actually doing a film with Glenn Hansard.
Yeah, that was interesting that they'd started conversations about a documentary.
Which I really hope, or a documentary, yeah.
I really hope that, you know, he said he had a long conversation with him or they did start filming things.
And I really hope that that conversation they had was recorded and to an extent that someday, hopefully, it will see the light of day again.
And like, you know, you could just listen to him, his music and with an anthology of his life, you know, you could listen to it for hours.

It's very generous of the family to allow that, to have a public wake and a public funeral, although it's dependent on who can fit in the church, of course.
But like to say, you know, that's incredibly generous.
It just shows that I suppose his internal, you know, his personal, very personal, intimate persona maybe was the exact same.
