I started off trying to watch just the 50th season, although it very quickly became clear that the 50th season is like in jokes upon Easter eggs, upon
Yes.
Yeah.
And as the 50th season, it's entitled to do that.
It makes it not a good introduction.
But I watched bunches of episodes from different portions of the show, and the only thing I think I don't really understand is the season-long arc, because that's obviously a hugely important thing.
But a lot of the vibe and the surprising brutality of the show in a number of ways I came across very clearly.
So the things that really stood out to me about the show...
They're all very impressive, but are just too much for me emotionally.
So firstly, the brutality.
If you compare it to Traitors, people genuinely loathe each other by the end of Survivor, a season of Survivor, in a way that I just don't think I've ever seen on TV before.
And it's very difficult for me to watch.

This is another thing.
It's very, very difficult to tell the seasons apart if you're just visiting them in a little bit.
But I'm super interested to know basically what the lifelong fans get out of it.
Because one of the things that strikes you when you're trying to get at it from the outside is how internalized the whole thing is.
How, like Marquis has phrased up his own ass, but it's just
