He makes passes that most players, you know, can't do.

It it's almost like McDavid when you see what he does inside the offensive zone, where the passes go from, all the different angles.

You know, there's an element of that with Cole.

Uh the skating, like I said, is not like his brother, but his biggest learning curve e uh from what I saw last year, he has to learn how to play defense.

Uh, his one on one situations, what he does in the corners, the front of the net, he's a smaller player.

And his brother plays a really different game from really any player in the National Hockey League defensively, but

the way he skates, the agility, the speed, the quickness that he has, uh he's an outlier uh as to how the game is played.

And I think Cole's gonna have a l a lot of bumps and bruises in his game, a lot of learning to go.

But I think, you know, like the Hudson brothers, they're all hockey rats, they're rink rats, they love the game.

I I've seen I don't know how many times I've seen Lane in the arena uh having to get kicked off the ice on game day.

And

You know, even the practice days, you know, they just keep going back out and I see it with the same and the the Ottawa kids.

They never want to leave the practice.

So, you know, they're just hockey raps.

So I know that Cole's gonna have that part in his game and I know that and I do believe in the coaching staff and the Capitals that being great communicators and builders of the young players.

So I'm expecting him to have an up and down season and really pick it up as the season goes on.

I have said this for years on my show and everyone certainly copied.

I never bet against him.

Uh he he just has this it's his mind more than his body.

The body used to dominate the game, but he thinks he can do anything.
