And how much I love it when all the print journalists are wrong about who's going where and, you know, who has to get signed and what they should sign for.

Because looking at this, like I said, looking at cap wages and all the different, you know, Puckpedia, there were so much money available.

If you were lucky enough to be a UFA or an RFA and you had put up good seasons, you

you know financially it was in your favor and once again it's just like capri's off last year uh should he have gotten that normal year not a chance but they had so much available and he had the upper hand just like darnell nurse years ago when he was a ufa or when that contract came calling he had the upper hand and they overpaid and you know the cap didn't go up as as fast as they thought and they kind of paid a price for it but you know

You can't turn the money down.

No one would.

You know, it'd be wrong to, you know, not to take money.

Well, that's not fair.

I don't want it.

Well, you know, because the teams don't, they don't have a second thought.

You know, just like, you know, the hubbub over guys with no movement clauses asking to be traded or doing, you know, teams go after guys too and do it as well.

So it's a two-way street there.

Maybe there should be penalties in the next collective bargaining agreement, whether it's the player or the team.

asking out of a no-movement clause or a no-trade clause that there should be some financial incentive for the player or a financial penalty for the player on either ask.

So it's just the timing of it all, it changes.

And as I said, these GMs are like convicts, just always plotting how to break the rules or get one up on everyone.
