It was about two hundred fifty peop uh about two hundred and fifty people.

I was you say I was person two fifty one and I just shake my head at the things I've got to do and the people I've gotten to meet over the years.

I I'm I'm shocked on the sort sorta feel that it went eight years.

I'm sh sh shocked that it went over say three and a half million.

Wow.

Uh you know, he had he had a y last year he got a lot of ice time with players out of the lineup and he got elevated in the lineup and he was a pleasant surprise.

But you look at the team they put together this year, he's gonna have trouble getting to those point totals.

He's not gonna get on the power play ever.

Um he was on the power play last year at times and you know, picked up a few points here and there.

So it's gonna be a tough one going forward.

Uh but if the team has success, that's all that matters.

Ryan Leonard, that's just one of those things when you see what happened in Edmonton with Holloway, you see what happened with Cutter Gotier, uh and and different players.

You know, they got ahead of the curve.

So the Washington Capitals, remember two years ago when they surprised everyone, they did an incredible job of filling their roster and and they paid guys appropriately.

This year everyone is upset about the tuck deal, but in time though those deals look quite they're they look like oh that's nothing.

It's a lot of money.

It's a ton of money to the average guy like you and me and every listener here.

But when you look at it in time with these salary caps, the way they've gone up, I'm not surprised

did anything this summer.

Teams had sixty and seventy million dollars available this summer.
