In fact, I think we even talked about that during our time in the Silmarillion.
Like, if we ever get there, right, because we didn't know that we would keep doing it, we would go to the Hobbit next.
Right.
When we started the Lord of the Rings, the realization, I blame Corey for this, but when we had him on at the end of season one and we talked about how we'd taken 44 episodes to cover the Silbrail and he goes, yeah, that's a little quick.
You rushed it.
Yeah, you might have rushed it.
And he was actually right, you know?
So we didn't go down to his pace, which of course, you know, would take us about 40 years to get through the Lord of the Rings.
And I'm not exaggerating, I don't think.
No.
We decided that we would do one of each of the six books over the course of the next six seasons.
And at that point, I wasn't thinking about what would come after because honestly, I didn't know that we'd get there.
That was another six years.
Yeah.
So this year though, or actually towards the end of last season, I began to think like, what's the show going to look like?
now that I've made it through last year, the appendices and this year unfinished tales, you and I had talked at one point about doing a revisit to the Silmarillion at that slower pace.
And that is still very much on my agenda, but not for right away.
I feel like what I want to do over the next three seasons is cover each of the great tales, one season per great tale.
Originally, I thought, oh yeah, I'll do season 11 will be the great tale.
Season 12 will be the Silmarillion redone.
