Normally in a thing like this, we'd all be saying, and happy birthday and everything like that.
But I don't know, maybe Cormac wants to say or something like that.
But I think we're all like a little bit shy.
But actually, the particular article that you mentioned, it's not really about Trump as such.
It's more about people having very active lives at the age of 80.
Now, apparently a lot of snoozing and dozing off and stuff like that.
But nevertheless, you know, he is more active, certainly, than a lot of us.
But the article is really about longer lives generally, healthier lives, you know, well into people's 70s and into their 80s.
And this question then, which comes up periodically about whether or not is that actually a good thing for people to keep working later in life?
And is the old notion of sort of retirement, you know, somewhere between the ages of 62 and 67 or 68, is that a good idea?
Now, just by coincidence, earlier on in the week, I was helping, there's a great study in Trinity, the Irish Longitudinal Study on Ageing, where they're tracking 50 people 50 years and older and interviewing them every year and really sort of getting a sense of ageing in Ireland.
I was helping them do the celebration there by participating on a panel.
But some of the research actually I've done with that data, one of the most surprising papers I ever wrote was to look at what happens to people's mental health when they retire.
And it's one of these things where everybody thinks they're going to be happier when they retire, but you don't actually see it in the data.
OK, most people, it's probably pretty similar.
And if it's the case that people have been bumped into retirement, you actually see... Which they are in Ireland a lot when they're 66.
Absolutely, and you see significant downturns.
So retirement is one of those interesting things in life that everybody then sort of really looks forward to.
But it seems that the actuality is not quite as good as the expectation.
