She also told that boyfriend that her mother had terminal cancer.

She didn't.

She told him long stories about the mother's hair falling out because of the treatment.

He'd rock up to the house next week.

The mum's hair is absolutely grand.

So strange lies when you're going to get caught out straight away.

But this is what she would do.

So much so that her mother actually told her first boyfriend, you can't believe a word she says, be careful.

Which is quite a thing for a mother to say about her own daughter.

So I suppose she had a baby, Martha, when she was 19 years old.

And that baby died under very tragic circumstances.

And it seems after that,

Samantha took a bit of a turn and her mother would have told me that she kind of saw a darker turn in Samantha after that death.

And then in 2011, she got convicted of surrogacy fraud in the UK.

And that's where a really lovely couple, Katie and Luke, were trying desperately to have a baby and it wasn't working for them.

So they paid Samantha to be a surrogate for them.

At that point in time, that was their life savings they handed over to her.

And of course, it turned out to be a house of cards.

It fell.
