She would insert herself into those parts of communities.

She would go to usually rural enough places, insert herself in, get to know people and then sort of latch on to certain families.

Often she would live with people as a nanny or an au pair, and she would claim to be a professionally trained nanny, which wasn't true.

She would claim to have worked out in Dubai with special needs children.

She would have claimed to work in America, in Los Angeles, with celebrity couples looking after their children.

But of course, she signed NDAs, so couldn't talk about it.

She would have posed as a child psychologist, which is a lot more concerning.

She would have posed as an occupational therapist, an art therapist.

She posed as a terminally ill award-winning author.

She was incredible, really.

Yeah, it's a really interesting question because that's what I was trying to figure out all this time.

How does somebody like her, because she's a very smart, able, really likable person.

The families she was with and the children loved her.

So how does somebody like that end up doing the things that she did?

And I suppose speaking to her family, speaking to her school friends, speaking to her early boyfriends when she was a teenager, they would have said there was always a propensity to lie, even from childhood.

She would lie, there would be tall tales, unnecessary things.

Obviously not criminal at that age, but just silly things.

Also, this lying about having an illness seemed to be there from the beginning.

Her first boyfriend told me she wrote him a long letter that he shared with me about how she had had anorexia.

She didn't.
