I already knew that.
So I could focus on meteorology, aeromedical aerodynamics, you know, that kind of stuff.
So I had the advantage in that case.
Oh, well, I mean, it takes about eight months to get through flight school.
And back then, you were a warrant officer candidate, a walk, the entire time until you graduate.
Nowadays, you're a walk for four to six weeks, and then they make you a W-1.
So the warrant officer ranks go W-1, 2, 3, 4, and CW-5, which didn't exist at the time.
It was only four.
But they...
They spoon feed you.
I mean, they know how to teach, and they've been doing it for years, and it just works really well, the process.
Although you're not a very good pilot.
You fly as a co-pilot.
Okay.
So you're a two-seat aircraft pilot.
You're the junior guy.
So it's like driving with your 16-year-old when they first learn.
Right.
That's the thing you have in the helicopter.
They've got another set of controls.
