That makes me feel weird.

It makes me feel bad.

It makes me feel powerless.

And I reject that.

And I'm going to do whatever I can to not feel that way.

I think that makes a lot of sense.

That was so funny.

So I went to Peru to meet with some machiganga.

So if you want to meet with truly nomadic hunter-gatherers, it takes many, many, many, many months.

But the machiganga in Peru are people who are semi-nomadic hunter-gatherers who you can meet with if you have the right contacts.

So I went to meet with them and I wanted to see what it was like to live as natural a lifestyle as people could be living.

And I went into... The people there speak sort of... They speak... Some of the people in the village speak Spanish, so I was communicating in broken Spanish.

Yeah.

And there was this one guy who I happened to be talking with, and I had seen that they had just gotten solar lighting for sort of the central area of their village, solar power light.

And...

I think about light pollution, and I like being able to see the stars.

When I go camping, I'm like, oh, it's so great.

We're finally away from the lights.

It sucks when I can't see the stars.

I'm in a big city.
