I understand that there's a balance to culture where we need some people and not everybody is meant to be around that kind of, but it doesn't mean that we shouldn't also live in a world where we actually create scenarios where that guy probably has never done that to somebody else again.
Did you ever read The Giver?
No.
What's that?
In middle school, I think.
It was required reading in our school.
Same.
Brent Thwaites is a friend of mine.
He played in the movie The Giver.
It's so funny because essentially the story is in that world...
Somebody has this gift to receive all basically all the memories and pain of the rest of society.
Right.
And so they impart that emotion to the giver and he's the vessel for that then for the community.
And it becomes a burden that you realize like one person is not meant to hold all this.
Right.
That's right.
So he becomes a bit of a sacrificial lamb, you know, and it's a very interesting story.

Some people say an empath is like a defense mechanism that people learn.
And others say that you're a deeply sensitive human being that just feels vibrations, you know, sort of ahead of other people.
