And the purpose of this album honestly was to create a space where people like me can feel validated in that.

It's actually, like, your superpower to be able to live all of this experience and then, like, turn it into something that other people can learn from and experience and, like, digest.
And I... This album is not me going, like, I've done all the healing.
I've got all the answers.
Got it figured out.

am recognizing now that I don't have a lot of answers that I thought I had and that's okay.
Like this is a space where I want people to feel like they can ask questions and be curious and not feel guilt and shame because of it.
And I think I just want, I want to validate you because you have validated me with this album and say that like,
I always have felt shame for the way that I am.
Like I have felt shame my whole life because I feel like I'm just like, why am I a disaster?
Why am I such a mess?
Like, why can I not just like figure this out?
Like, why can I not just like stay on this straight and narrow?
Like, why do I have to go and do all this exploring and searching and like hearing your album and seeing you talk about this so bravely and honestly, I'm like,
OK, it makes me feel like this is a beautiful thing.
