I'm here with Alana Springsteen. Let's go. I think the first time I met you was at Trani's baby shower. That's right. It was so random and like, I feel like just serendipitous. I've known Trani since I was like 12. How? Oh my God. By the way, Trani is an amazing songwriter. What's her new last name? Anderson. Trani Anderson. She moved to town. She's from my hometown of Waco, Texas. I knew her when she was a kid. She wanted to be a songwriter and now she's here writing for people like Alana Springsteen. I love her story so much. If you don't know Trani, you know her songs.
Yeah. For sure.
Just, and she's just like, I just love her so much because like this was her calling and she is just doing it. Yeah. So what did y'all write together? So we were, we started writing back when I was not even driving. Like I moved to Nashville when I was 14, signed a publishing deal and, How did you get to Nashville when you were 14? I mean, girl, there was never a plan B for me.
You always knew?
I always knew. There was just like, I felt like it was my purpose. And granted, my family's not in the industry at all. I grew up in a small town, so there was no path to follow.
Pastors, right?
Yeah, both my grandparents are pastors. Okay. So there was no like set path to follow. It was very much like figure it out as you go. Just walk through the doors that open. But it was God the whole way through.
