I remember Smotric talking about this some years ago in a in a talk he gave um to the Likud when he said, Listen,

This is our plan.

And the Arabs are going to go.

And he said, But what we really need to implement this plan is a big crisis or a big war.

And during that war the plan will be finally operational.

And so

That will as I say, these are

сам the possibilities all of this together

it makes it it very volatile, but that's not my point.

You know, there's no clean binary deal available to Washington.

All of the things is now turned into a matrix of smaller wars taking place across the region, all of which are interconnected, but all of which have quite separate agendas.

The s the Lebanese war, the Yemen

uh the Syrian circumstances, all of these things have got completely different agendas.

The possibility of Washington coming to a comprehensive solution now seems to me close to zero.

uh i i it it could break out in in many different ways.

I i i i I mean this is exactly what I'm trying to say.

It's it's incendiary.

The whole region could be, you know, you one match here, another match there, in another killing in in in Lebanon, uh a mass killing somewhere else.

Uh anything can now

uh it's it's very volatile uh and can easily be set uh set off.
