And I think a huge part of it is he plays quarterback the way that Sean Payton wants him to play quarterback.
He doesn't take sacks, he doesn't turn the ball over, he's smart, he can see it.
But what you're talking about, I think, is ceiling.

And as a result, if those guys have good years, I'm just telling ya, the negotiation on those guys is gonna start at seventy million dollars per year in new money because Dak got sixty million and that was three off seasons ago, or gonna be three off seasons ago when we get there.

And if you don't pay him after three years, then you're going into year four without him signed long term.

Every quarterback, every quarterback who wound up being the long term manager got paid after year three.
The teams that carried it into year four, th and maybe Bryce Young and CJ Stroud will wind up breaking this trend.
But the trend has been that teams that carry it into year four as kind of a we'll see don't wind up with that quarterback long term.
Blake Bortles was an example of it if you go years ago.
Jameis Winston was an example of it.
