Um a lot of season to go.

Cam War can still turn it around.

Maybe the Titans won't be drafting in the top five.

Um but right now if things stay the s the way they are then they would have a decision to make.

I think they're both I think they're both kind of up in the air right now, you know, and and to me like this is the trouble, Dan, with the way that the system has worked.

Um, you don't see guys who are drafted high in the first round taking like what Baker Mayfield took with the Buccaneers three years ago or two years ago.

You don't see them taking what Sam Darnold took with the Seahawks last year, right?

I mean those guys Baker took, I think it was

100 over three.

Um, Sam took a little more than that.

I think it was 105 over three.

So you're talking about like a little more than half the top of the quarterback market.

There is no example of a young quarterback who was drafted, you know, in the top ten, um, that's went through his rookie contract and wound up doing that sort of deal.

If for one reason or another, it's become an all-or-nothing type of thing where either

You give a guy a contract at the very top of the market, or you walk away from him.

And so that's what's so interesting about the Bryce situation and the CJ situation to me.

I think they're both good examples of how quarterback development isn't always linear.

I think you know when when we watched Mahomes and Allen and Lamar Jackson and Joe Burrow, how fast they developed and how they maintained their level of play.

Like I think we

all assumed okay for Bryce Young, for CJ Stroud, for for for Drake May, for Caleb Williams, for Jaden Daniels, well they're just gonna be they're they're they're just gonna be what they were when they were their very best and keep getting better and that's not always the way it works.
