I think that the quarterly input that there are information that they'll be giving us is important.

We had 150 students

in Santa Clara Unified that were homeless this last year.

I'm 100% secure that this is gonna be a great site, and they're not gonna be harmed in any way.

The fire department's about .1 distance from that site.

Errol Con Micropark, a great park for them to use, is right next to that.

If they need a farm, the 4-H farm is .3 miles away.

Casa del Maestro, which they can collaborate.

Some teachers might be able to go and volunteer there, about .4 miles away.

There's no perfect site.

This is probably as perfect a site, other than you put it on a school site or something like that, as possible.

I think the contribution that we're making to help have some stake in this is important.

Either we support families that are here in the city or we don't.

And I think this is a great contribution for us to put our money where our mouth is and help those families that are in need.

This entire process feels like we didn't give the public enough time.

We didn't socialize this enough before it came to council, before we have to vote on it tonight to get this on the ballot.

So those are my questions.
