The uh the thing that I would mention here as we uh and I'm glad that our city manager mentioned that we track uh our rates compared to other utilities throughout the state to show that we're one we're basically the the the cheapest over ten thousand rates. podcast-host

But at the same time when uh if we compare it ourselves to PGE, it it's it doesn't feel good that you know we're still at fifty seven percent when they're in podcast-host

increasing, you know, double ditches. podcast-host

So we wanna make sure that w this uh that we do the study and make sure that we're we're podcast-host

We're uh addressing and basically charging what we should be charging. podcast-host

At the same time, uh, you know, we do have uh rates that I could say are just podcast-host

uh are re are really good as far as what what we're seeing here in Santa Clara and that's why we're seeing uh not only the the the people that wanna be here, businesses, residents and obviously the data centers, but um there's reasons for that. podcast-host

And um Nico, I think we're building a lot of housing in the north side, so if you wanna look into uh moving from P GE area to ours, I think that's podcast-host

beneficial but um definitely I'm gonna be supporting this and and uh looking forward to the the rate study to see if we there's anything that else that we gotta adjust. podcast-host

And just as a matter of uh the A minus uh rating is is good. podcast-host

I know that a similar footprint as ours as Santa Clara Unified has has a triple A rating with Moody's in Porsche and obviously i you know it benefits them in being able to to get better rates when they're going out to their bonds and stuff. podcast-host

So if we can improve ours and be better capitalized to mitigate any adverse things that we may see here in the future that we don't see coming forward, you know, it's it's definitely beneficial to us. podcast-host
