So those dynamics are very interesting.
You know, Charles Barkley is one of the best kind of things just because he don't want to work.
that's it you just want to have a good time and like he'll give you like two hours before he starts to get distracted basically so he's great any musical acts that have come in that you were geeked out about saying a meeting yeah we had outcast my first year that was incredible because those guys went to my high school and i've been a lifelong fan of those guys for sure so for them to come in in like my first season i think it was like the third episode or something like that
and they were having such a crazy moment as well with like hey y'all you know i mean it was like their biggest record ever and like it was as big as they'd ever been yeah that was an amazing week do you go tell them like no no i knew you guys are like sick on you like i've been with you forever i'm always cornering them like i cornered them at their studio and be like y'all don't understand man you guys are the greatest they've heard it a million times like but i gotta tell you me personally i gotta tell you what you mean to me they're great and um
You know, anytime like a Paul McCartney comes around, it's always kind of crazy.
It's like, bro, that dude is like number one legendary, but number two upwards in years.
And he's still out here like doing it big.
Like he played like three songs after the show went off kind of thing and then partied into the night.
You know what I mean?
He's just sitting there with Steven Spielberg and like all these people like SNL is crazy, bro.
It's literally crazy.
I don't think so.
I think there's kind of like an air of if you want that, there are certain people that you give that to to ask for those permissions.
Especially with those kinds of levels of people.
It's usually the musical guest is someone that's really, really, really famous.
Actors are chill.
We're there and we have so much time with them that if you want to get something signed by them, you probably would build a relationship through the week.
to where you would feel comfortable asking that.
But the musical guest is someone that's in a hyper-famous mode, and they always have security.
It's just a bigger thing, so you naturally feel like you should ask the handlers, would it be okay if I got an audition, or can I bring my kids to watch the rehearsal, or whatever, as opposed to asking them directly kind of thing.
