And then in the other hall, they were being offered the chance to either fix or kind of stave off infertility.

And it just seemed to me two sides of the same coin.

And I'm not saying, by the way, that these shows shouldn't exist or that the market shouldn't exist.

And obviously, I think IVF is a wonderful industry.

innovation and it's helped so many people.

I do think that the way the industry markets itself can be problematic.

And I do think there is an exploitative nature that is not just limited to a few bad actors, which is what a lot of people have suggested to me.

It's just like, oh yeah, some clinics over-promise or over-treat because a lot of clinics do over-treat.

They offer sort of almost endless rounds of IVF when it's probably obvious that

They're not going to work, for one example.

Or they target egg freezing at women in their 40s, which I was told by several gynecologists is like pretty much a waste of money.

And I was told, you know, well, yeah, of course, there are a few bad actors, there are a few bad clinics.

There always are in every industry.

I'm not sure about that.

I think it's more pervasive than that.

Yeah, I don't think it is that obvious.

I think most patients probably don't actually come at it initially from a perspective like, is this ethical or is this not?

Am I going to be taken for a ride?

They just want a baby.

So they're looking at success rates.
