And I went to call an Uber or Lyft or something.

And finally, support came through.

And the person was like, oh, yeah, seems like you're stuck.

Like, I'll drive you out of there.

And so I have questions about how they function in the rain in New York City.

And I have questions about when the backup is human drivers.

It seems like it's another form of outsourcing as well.

So, yes, in the long term, theoretical, will autonomous vehicles be safer than humans?

In most cases, yes.

But to say that we are definitely there right now.

So all of that is to say, I think it's a, this hypothetical of they're ready to go and be safer right now is not right.

I think, as Kane says, in the long run, we're all dead.

There's a question of speed, not yes or no.

And I think most people here are from zero to 100, somewhere between 40 and 60, and we're being described as yes or no.

I think it's not ready right now for the environment of New York City.

It will be ready sometime in the future.

And like with a lot of AI, we need to be thoughtful on that transition on how it benefits people and how it hurts them.

I think it for so long, humans have been defined by their job and that's become a piece of the dignity that you in this worldview have purpose, have value because of the thing that you do.

And that's been ingrained in people for a while now.
