That being said, his defense has actually been much better since April.
Turning the double play, made a couple nice plays on Sunday.
If you look at his outs above average since he really struggled in April, he's been one of the best three defensive third basemen in baseball.
So, one, you've got to keep him in the lineup because he's playing good third base, and two, he still gets on base.
That being said, you're looking for a lot more production from Alex.
Yeah, at this point of the season for somebody who, you know, you kind of cast it as your marquee free agent coming into the season.
He's the highest impact bat in that lineup.

As Seiya goes offensively, this lineup goes offensively.
And we dug into some statistics.
When Seiya Suzuki had two or more hits last year or hit a home run in a game last year, Cubs had their best winning percentage with him doing that rather than anybody else on the team doing that.
Better than Pete, better than Bush, better than Nikko.
I think he's just such a dynamic bat, even dating back to his time in the Nippon Baseball League in Japan.
He was an MVP out there.
He's the bat that has best power from the right side, hits the ball the hardest, and best power potential.
People have been talking about the Cubs missing that middle-of-the-order bat like other teams have with Shohei Otani and Aaron Judge and Kyle Schwarber.
The bat like that who has the most potential to be able to take over lineups and dominate pitching and take over games and take over weeks, it's Sam.
I don't think it's an overreaction.
I think this is a really important stretch.
I mean, it's Brewers, Padres, and Cardinals.
