Padres are a wildcard team, and the Cardinals just a couple games behind you vying for that wildcard spot.
So, I mean, I think Cubs, Cardinals, July 4th weekend, there's really nothing better than that at Wrigley Field.
The Padres, it's a rematch of the NL wildcard, which the Cubs obviously won in three games and winning those at Wrigley Field and then winning two out of three in Milwaukee.
I won't say that it's just an important series.
It's a really important stretch right before the All-Star break where health-wise, from a pitching perspective, you're limping into the All-Star break.
If you can build yourself a couple series wins, that'll really help.
The second half is you get healthier pitching, but if you look at that second half of the first couple series, especially going into the trade deadline where you have the Brewers, Dodgers, and the Yankees in no specific order, you need to build some wins now so you can get to that point.
I mean, I'm somewhere in between that.
I mean, they're playing much better baseball.
I mean, they're 12-4 in their last 16 games.
The offense is scoring, what, right around seven runs per game, just under seven runs per game over that stretch.
And the way that this series has broken down in March and April,

March and April, I mean, they were a top five offense in baseball.
In May, they were a bottom five offense in baseball.
In June, they're a top five offense in baseball.
So if they can continue being a top five offense in baseball like they've been two-thirds of the way through the season, I think they have a shot at the division.
If they play like they did in May, they won't have a shot at the division.
It's as simple as that.
