I didn't really have any friends, so after work I'd either read or go online, play a game, join in a Reddit discussion about books or history or something.
I used to be something of a
Troll.
Online, I mean.
You know, someone who
winds other people up, gets a reaction out of them.
I never meant anything by it, but on occasion I'd take it too far.
Say something that stayed with me.
I always enjoyed the anonymity of the internet.
I could be whoever I wanted, and there were so many idiots out there.
But I could just run rings around most of them.
There was a power to it, a satisfaction.
That I didn't feel anywhere else.
Anyway.
