Go out and promote pork a lot of different ways.
Go to minor league baseball games, college games, different sporting events, different activities just to promote pork.
give out recipes, make people aware of pork.
And, you know, a lot of people get scared and I don't think they know how to cook pork or anything.
You know, at our farmer's market, we give out free cookbooks all the time.
At the pork producer events, we give free cookbooks out all the time.
And that's like the first thing people grab off the table.
They don't grab a hat.
They don't grab the little squishy pig.
They grab a cookbook because they don't know.
So promotion of pork is what we do for that.
Really enjoy that.
But in Maryland, we might only have a dozen or so
producers on slats a lot of our producers are doing for like um uh not berkwood um what's the name of that one group well mostly hoop barn style on straw and there's a lot of nyman ranch nyman ranch very good yep so uh the two girls who actually paid workers for pork producers uh the one girl finishes for nyman ranch the other one fares for nyman ranch they do very well
And then there's a lot of producers just like myself or show pig people in Maryland that are pork producer members.
So we really do represent all aspects, but a lot of it's small, small time.
Yeah.
Not even close.
Right.
On the Eastern shore of Maryland, it's big chicken country.
