I don't know how I lean on that.
I understand both sides of it.
And I wouldn't, if I had a huge barn that was not Prop 12 compliant, I wouldn't want to spend the money to switch it.
But at the same time, I can see the value in it maybe, but I feel like we're a long way from California.

And I think each farmer should have that decision to make.
For us on our farm, we try and run antibiotic-free as much as we can.
And most of the time, if that animal is really sick or gets really hurt, that's the one we're going to keep for ourselves because there's nothing wrong with it.
But hey, maybe it needed a few shots, it got something in its eye, got cut, whatever.
People ask that all the time.

It's like, no, we definitely don't try very hard not to.
Right now, luckily, my herd is clean on swine side.
We don't do any vaccinations or anything just because everything's clean.
If an issue arises, I'll definitely go back to that.
