They recently released another one, and it performs extremely well, and it's coming out of Switzerland.
So I don't think it's impossible, and clearly listening to folks like Keir Starmer, like Andy Burton, but also President Macron, Merz in Germany, the idea that sovereignty over our kind of shared technological foundations on which we are
Going to be d enormously dependent for our economic futures, but also our national security and various others, is a extraordinary priority.
If you cannot build those foundations in line with your national security interests or your national economic interests while being dependent in some way or another on either Chinese or US models, then you have to look for alternatives.
And I think that they are.
I think that this is more fragile than it looks.
And to come back to where we started in this podcast, I don't think we can underestimate just how vulnerable the current, certainly American approach to developing this technology in the way that they are is.
We are talking of hundreds of billions in circular financing, hundreds of billions of debt, trillions of dollars of investment into data centers on the premise that they will be used and that they will find some kind of economic output.
Slashing of prices of already unprofitable companies, OpenAI cutting its some of its costs by 80% to its end users in response to Chinese OPA models at a time where it was already expected to be hemorrhaging billions of dollars annually.
So I I I it's very plausible, I think, that we are about to hit a shock that will bring about some kind of governance here.
Now that shock could be one of somebody tries to call in some debt, and and and there we do
get a market correction.
That could be one.
The second shock, well, to take the other end of the spectrum, what if these hacking incidents that we've heard about suddenly actually become much more frequent, much more serious, and that really does force the US, China and everybody else around the same table.
