As of this week, now the fastest player in NBA history to make 253 pointers.
And he did it in 72 games.
He's now only seven threes away from setting the Hornets franchise record for made threes in a season previously set by Kimball Walker.
And if Khan just has like another season like this next season, he will likely move into the top eight in Hornets franchise history for total made threes.
league-wide the next record to fall will most likely be most threes in a player's first 100 career games which is currently held by duncan robinson he has uh 326. khan will need to average 2.6 threes per game to beat that record he is currently averaging three and a half per game so
It's just looking like, assuming, you know, he stays healthy.
Every single like first two, whatever threes record is going to fall because of con can nipple, uh, which is pretty amazing.
All right, Andrew.
It's time once again for the Wheel of Fandom, the weekly segment where we spin a wheel, it lands on a team, and we become fans of that team for the next week.
Last week, the wheel landed on the Detroit Pistons.
Andrew and I weren't that excited initially because... We were not.
Cade Cunningham had just been diagnosed with a collapsed lung.
You know, we were wondering how exciting would watching the Cade-less Pistons really be.
Turns out, pretty exciting.
After beating the Fading Warriors, the Pistons had one of their best wins of the season, beating the Lakers and ending their nine-game winning streak in the process.
Danish Jenkins put up a career-high 30 points in the win, including the go-ahead shot with 24 seconds left.
After the Lakers, the Pistons did suffer their lone loss of the week, a 130-129 overtime loss to Atlanta, before beating the Pelicans Thursday night, a game in which Jalen Dern put up 30-10-7.
The Pistons are now 53-20, 9th ranked offense, 2nd ranked defense per clean the glass.
Andrew, if the Pistons are a favorite team, who is our guest?
Yeah.
