And that's why my wild card pick for the pressure draft is Blaze the Trailcat and Douglas Fur, Portland's two mascots.
Because I look at the extreme lengths that Portland's new owner has gone to save money this summer, and I truly do not know how both of you have survived.

Do is look back at the history of the Carolina Hurricanes mascot to get an idea of what's about to happen.
Because when Dundan took over the hurricanes, a second mascot had recently been introduced.
Now you of course have Stormy the Ice Hog, their main mascot.
He's an anthropomorphic brown pig celebrating North Carolina's massive pork and hog farming industry.

Of course.
But
You also had the recently introduced Caroline, who was also an ice hog, but featured, quote, distinct braided pigtails, micro bangs, and green eyes.
Now shortly after Dundan took control of the franchise, Caroline disappeared, never to be heard from again.
Yeah, somebody at a barbecue.
Yeah.
Now
With all this in mind, the pressure is on Blaze and Douglas.
