But what happens the first play out of half?
is Omax Prosper does a simple cut to the rim, and he's wide open for a dunk, an uncontested dunk.
And that was just showing you the effort level that was going to happen from the Dipper Nuggets for the rest of that game.
It was not a close game.
There were no clutch time, like true clutch time minutes, where this felt like it was hanging in the balance.
They just straight up lost a game to this team.
And it kind of comes on the heels of them...
losing a lot of big games and part of the concern for me and this is laid out by our friends over at dnvr who have joined this pod you know several times throughout the years it's like there's just like kind of a concerning lack of leadership from the roster and from the coaching staff during this you know like there's this kind of like well we're kind of winning we're winning in places that we really like we're we're progressing all these like
but they're not winning the basketball games they need to.
And so like the lack of leadership, just the fact that they're losing games like this, that they're not winning these games.
Like they've got beat by the thunder the last two times.
And like the thunder just like decidedly look like the better team, even though the thunder had like a ton of players missing in one of those contests.
Um,
I'm concerned about the Nuggets.
I feel like they're a team that kind of gets a pass and they deserve it because last year they fired their coach and their GM and then they showed up and they looked like the team that was best equipped to handle this Thunder team that ended up winning the championship.
But I just wonder if they are that team.
Like if they are the team that can go and actually beat the Thunder, that can actually...
get to the Western Conference Finals and potentially the NBA Finals again.
They don't look like it right now.
Defensively, they don't compete.
